At this time we will discuss about which filter is suitable for use when we want to give the effect of light rays of the sun on your photo.

Tips to Make Photo Looks Cool with Filter Q2

VSCO Cam - Hello Guys, in this article as seen in its title, we will both try to implement one of the latest filter of VSCO CAM that we love, which belong to the The Alchemy Collection, the Q2.

At the beginning when The Alchemy Collection released, I still can not found in what kind of photo that Q2 filter is suitable.

After several attempts to apply them in a variety of different photos, I finally found that this filter is very good when used to photograph that has elements of black in it.

Element of black color on the photo will be seen more black when we use this filter, as well as the color gray will be darker.

For one example application I am using a photo of a little girls that I took at restaurant. Here's what the photos before the edit.

In the above photo there are some elements gray pretty much, on the floor and also iron fence located in front of small children. Application of Q2 filter will make the color gray appears darker.

I use a maximum level up to +12 to see the differences more clearly. As seen in the screenshot above, the addition of this filter makes the floor's colors become darker. As for the color of the fence is also becoming more contrast with the color of the wall, thus further reinforce the texture of the fence itself.

Once observed, it was not just black and gray are visible change, dark blue trousers worn on the little girl also turned into a slightly darker.

Unique things I encountered on VSCO CAM filter is the latest to elements of light gray color found on the wall did not turn out to be darker, but lighter. When viewed more closely, the color of the walls turned into a more "light" after using the filter.

This is similar to the application functions that increase the level difference of the dark colors and light colors, the Contrast feature.

Due to an increase in dark color and light color enhancement on each color, there is the impression of glare that appears on the photo. To reduce it I'm using the exposure feature. I set it to one lower levels.

After its reduced glare impression, I try to improve the Contrast in photo becomes 2 levels higher.

The addition of contrast level makes the photo appears to be more dramatic with bright and dark difference is quite noticeable. It will make the photo become more cool and mysterious.

A few tips to make photos look more cool with VSCO CAM today, good luck with your experiment.
